Here is an 2009 original Intruder model shaped by the original Intruder shaper Joel Woods. Joel shaped the Intruder exclusively for Oneills from 1963 to 1969. This one is a custom for a very lucky client.

I rode an Intruder II square tail in the mid-1960's. Rode a friends a few times prior to his passing. It's now kept with a friend and is in pristine condition. Dark green pintail, slight bump deck, slight concave nose, 50/50 rails - thick and heavy. Surfed fantastic at head high Cowells pre 'everybody now surfs'. Now it's collecting dust. Mine's long gone to the rocks many years ago. Sad.
