Good friend and legendary shaper Marc Andreini was injured while surfing big outside Pleasure Point. He hit bottom and damaged his L-1 vertebrae. There is no spinal cord damage and prognosis for a full recovery looks very good.
Doug and I visited with him and his awesome wife Betty yesterday at Dominican Hospital. Marc is in very good spirits and can't wait to get back out in the water and shape.
Marc is a very special person who has the support of many good friends. It won't be long before we'll see him at the shop or in the water.

Big
Is it just me, but are boards getting bigger or is my sanding room getting smaller? This beast is all but 12 ft. long, 30 in. wide and 6 inches thick!
It barely fit in the room and did not fit in the saddle of my rack.
I think they require C.F. numbers for water craft like this.
