Huh?

What's the deal? When this board showed up at the shop for repair we were too busy to get the story on this.
If anyone has an idea, please post your story! The best story will win a SCBBG shirt.

Wow! That's clearly a result of too much time watching NASCAR and not enough time in the green room. Some poor carp is bummed! Please post pictures of the killer repair job. Nice blog by the way.

I know exactly what happened. When the first few good swells come up, at the first of the year, all the surf school clods hit the water thinking they got it under control.
What happened here is one clod on a long board doing the scarecrow dance ran over another clod sitting in the channel and …BAM…Log Jam. It would be nice if this happened more often. Less clods in the water.
EastSide !!!!!!

its like Excaliber- the sword and the stone (well, fin in the rail i suppose). i think merlin the wizard magically placed the fin there only to be removed by the most masterful and worthy ding repairman.

or maybe a ninja threw it at the guy because he like fully snaked him on the most righteous, gnarly, balls -to-the-wall, top to bottom wave of the day.

either way... gnar gnar cakes, broseph

Aren't you just the slightest bit tempted to glass it in when doing the repair?!
