Saturday, September 25, 2010 was the Grand Opening for Sunset Shapers Precision Surf Designs in San Francisco. Located at 3896 Noriega at 46th, shop owner/surfboard shaper, James Mitchell is hoping that his location 2 blocks to Ocean Beach will be convenient for SF surfers.
In addition to James Mitchell’s Las Olas label, some of the featured shapers include Tim Gras (SF), Steve Iverson (HMB), and Steve Coletta, Buck Noé, Doug Haut, and Nick Palandrani of Source and GP surfboards (all from SC). Of course, all the boards are glassed by Santa Cruz Board Builders Guild.
